
New music fest, Hills N’ Holler, coming to Hardin County; will feature multiple music genres
A new music festival is coming to the area, this one set to feature artists from multiple genres in Hardin County, Kentucky. The Hills N’ Holler Music Fest announced that it is holding its inaugural concert event on Sept. 25. The entire festival will take place outdoors, and will go from 10:30 a.m., when gates open, to midnight. The music will start at noon. Seven, local and nationally touring, artists will take the stage at the Hardin County Fairgrounds. Among them, the festival headliner, Dallas Moore, whose Top 25 current playlist song, “Every Night I Burn Another Honky Tonk Down” remained in the charts for weeks. Dallas has also been featured in Billboard Magazine for his latest album, “The Rain.”Mudbone & The Ruckus will take the stage before Moore, featuring his own original music from “Rivers and Roads, Part I and II”. Both albums appeared in the Top 100 on the AMA Charts (Americana Music Association). Mudbone and Dallas Moore will be supported by additional performances from The Andy Brasher Band, Sadie McClendon, Miles Apart, Kevin Jaggers and Casey & Romy.“The mission of this festival is to bring unity back to the fans after a very rough year of COVID. In addition, many folks forgot about the artists. They received no stimulus check, no work and, unfortunately, there were a lot of artists who did not make it through the pandemic, and not because of COVID. This is our way to give back to the fans, the artists and the local businesses who suffered so much,” event founder Andi Tonietti said.The festival will feature plenty of food as well. Barbeque, pizza in a cone, hamburgers, hotdogs, hot and cold sandwiches; there will be something for everyone on the menu.You can learn more about the event by checking out its website here. The festival is a ticketed event. Tickets and parking can be purchased, prior to the event, online. Online pricing for general admission is $25 and parking is $10. Tickets and parking passes can be purchased the day of the show with cash only. General admission tickets will be $30 and parking $15. Children five and under are free.
