Fiesta Bowl partners with Caesars Entertainment for multi-year deal | Arizona Sports

SCOTTSDALE, AZ (3TV/CBS 5) — Fiesta Bowl and Caesars Entertainment have joined to create a first-ever sports betting and fantasy gaming partnership for a college football Bowl game.

After Ducey signed a bill legalizing sports betting in Arizona in April, many gaming companies are partnering with Arizona college and professional sports. Caesars officials expect the multi-year deal to expand Caesar’s mark on Arizona by bringing betting and fantasy gaming to college football.

“This is a new frontier in the college football space, and the Fiesta Bowl is again out in front with this fan-focused partnership. There was significant interest in the marketplace to partner with the Fiesta Bowl; where Caesars stood out was with its similar community mindset and a creativity towards setting a new standard,” said Fiesta Bowl Chief Marketing Officer Jose Moreno.

Caesars Entertainment has announced a partnership with the Arizona Diamondbacks to launch mobile sports betting in Arizona.

This is the second partnership Caesars Entertainment is bringing to Arizona. Earlier this month, Caesars announced they would be partnering with the Arizona Diamondbacks, bringing temporary betting kiosks to Chase Field. Sports betting will officially go live in Arizona Sept. 9, and Caesars will also be launching their sportsbook and mobile app the same day. Caesars also plans to build a 20,000 square foot sportsbook to Chase Field in early 2022.

FanDuel also announced a partnership with Footprint Center, home of the Suns, Mercury and Rattlers. FanDuel is also planning to build their own sportsbook as well, and official photos have been released. In addition, BetMGM will be bringing a sportsbook to Glendale at State Farm Stadium early next year.

Caesars officials note fans can either download the Caesars Sportsbook app to place a bet and can earn credits through their Caesars Rewards program. The 2022 Fiesta Bowl is expected to be played on New Years Day.
