Sisters Eileen Feick and Juliana Montano opened this Sandpiper Plaza store in August 2021, impressed by watching diners at their dad and mom’ Mexican restaurant wait 10-Quarter-hour for an horchata, a conventional drink made with rice, cinnamon and vanilla. In addition they created a non-dairy “oatchata” model. Their natural espresso beans come from Chiapas, Mexico, and so they supply Cuban, Colombian and decaf Mexican. The lavender horchata frappe and the horchata iced latte are fan favorites. Their intensive meals menu options their twist on conventional Mexican dishes, resembling crispy, mini beef chimichangas and concha French toast made with Mexican candy bread, topped with bananas, strawberries and Nutella or Le Lechera condensed milk.
