You might call it the roaring ’20s for some Angelenos, but maybe not in the way you’re thinking. Not everyone spent the last year stuck inside, eating frozen pizzas or making maple syrup or baking bread or catching up on the latest shows on Netflix.

Although the pandemic may have hurt retail sectors, sales figures for niche goods, particularly sex toys and fetish fashion, helped tell another pandemic story.

Bachelorette’s Zac Clark, Tayshia Adams Are Wedding Planning

Going to the chapel! Zac Clark and his fiancée, Tayshia Adams, have begun arranging their wedding after getting engaged on season 16 of The Bachelorette.

“Obviously, there’s wedding plans,” Clark, 37, exclusively told Us Weekly on Thursday, April 8, while discussing the Goggins Challenge. “There are plans to get married, but it’s been a wild start to the year.”

The Release Recovery Foundation cofounder revealed that there isn’t a wedding date set at this “very moment,” but said “yes,” there will be one eventually.

Houston designer Nina Magon channels ‘contessa’ style in pink Kips Bay bedroom suite

Interior designer Nina Magon’s reimagining of a bedroom suite in pink, with sexy curves and European style was all for an imaginery countess the Houston entrepreneur conjured for inspiration.

Magon, who recently rebranded her Contour Interior Design into a more identifiable Nina Magon Studio, created the bedroom — “Camera da letto della Contessa” (the Countess’ Bedroom) — for the 2021 Kips Bay Decorator Showhouse Palm Beach.

Tommy Hilfiger’s Family Establishes Fashion Business School at Elmira College

Tommy Hilfiger and his siblings Andy and Betsy have partnered with Elmira College to establish the Tommy Hilfiger Fashion Business School, which will combine business education with real-world fashion industry experience. It will be part of its bachelor’s degree in business administration.

The Hilfiger siblings grew up in Elmira, N.Y., where Tommy Hilfiger opened his first local store in 1969 called People’s Place. Hilfiger and his family have maintained their connection to the community through their work and philanthropy.
